Canterbury Ice Hockey Association is an affiliate of the New Zealand Ice Hockey Federation, which in turn is a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. CIHA and NZIHF ice hockey games are conducted using IIHF ice hockey rules.

 

All CIHA members, including players, parents, coaches, managers, officials, and associates must abide by the CIHA Code of Conduct and rules of both CIHA and NZIHF.
