Canterbury Ice Hockey Association (CIHA) is seeking expressions of interest for a dedicated, ambitious and knowledgeable Head Coach for our youth club, CIHA Minors, that will join the club beginning in the winter season on May 1st, 2021. While the tenure of the current Minors Head Coach may be extended through 2021, all expressions of interest will be considered.

The Head Coach role will be based in Christchurch, New Zealand and will see the successful candidate working with a wide range of age groups and skill levels, developing and leading CIHA's coaching strategies.

The Head Coach will be actively involved in on-ice sessions for approximately 10 hours per week in the winter season and is further expected to partake in a range of coach-related off-ice duties to help build and improve the club and enhance the experiences of CIHA youth players and parents. The position may be renewed upon mutual agreement for 2022 and beyond.
